Rites of Passage
Throughout history, recent and ancient, religious institutions have offer and performed Rites of Passage. Our Unitarian Universalist Rites of Passage support and celebrate families and individuals throughout the cycle of life, marking milestones in our years on this planet. The most common of these ceremonies are:
- Child Dedications and Baby Blessings - to welcome children in the world
- Weddings - to formally unite couples in marriage.
- Memorial Services or Funerals-- a celebration of life to mourn a death
